Located in East Austin, this neighborhood is a known hub for creativity with endlessly unique restaurants, cafes, bars, and specialty shops. The Space: With its prime location, this home is ideal for groups craving an authentic experience that will reveal just how the locals “Keep Austin Weird.” In classic Austin style, East Side Modern is an eclectic blend of color, artwork, natural textures, and contemporary furnishings. Guests will be inspired and rejuvenated by the home’s unique design and inviting layout. Natural light fills the living area with sectional couch and smart tv. From here, the open-concept design flows right into the modern kitchen, fully equipped with cookware, ample counter space, and high-end appliances including beautiful double ovens, perfect for feeding large groups and entertaining. Indoor dining space includes casual barstool seating and a large dining table right off the kitchen. Outside you’ll find one of the home’s most charming areas, the screened-in porch with additional dining space overlooking the private and perfectly manicured backyard. After a delightful meal shared outside, head up the home’s winding staircase to reach the rooftop deck where you can kick back with a drink as the sun sets over the Downtown Austin skyline. This home sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 is located on the first floor and is furnished with a king size bed. Bedrooms #2 and #3 are upstairs with a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom in between. The contemporary bathroom offers plenty of space with a large walk-in shower and dual sinks. Bedroom #2 is furnished with a California King size bed. Bedroom #3 offers a Queen bed in the open concept room with no door. THINGS TO NOTE: The home has an additional bathroom with a spacious 6-ft long tub/shower combo. This rental is the property’s front home, the back residence has a long-term tenant. Parking space for 2 vehicles is available in the driveway, with plenty of additional space available on the street. Washer and dryer in unit. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood in East Austin that is minutes from surrounding restaurants, cafes, and landmarks. The area is diverse and holds the authenticity that Austin is so proud of. You’ll be within easy reach of Austin’s popular attractions like the Texas State Capitol, Congress Bridge Bats, and the Greetings from Austin Mural. There was plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms had clothing racks instead of closet, but that was fine. Water pressure was very good and hot water plentiful. There are two air conditioners and plenty of cool air. The rooftop decks were a plus. There is a view of downtown Austin. Streaming on the tv was a little slow, but the internet seemed fine. The neighborhood is gentrifying. We easily walked to nearby coffee shops and to bars on E. Sixth Street. All-in-all it was a lovely stay. I would recommend this house. ##### Laura B.
