Easily walk to tons of fun restaurants, shops, and music venues on South Congress. Downtown is only 2 miles away. Get the best of both worlds — nightlife, and a quiet home to come back to. Keep active with a year-round heated pool (Big Stacy) and jogging trail directly across the street. Young families can also enjoy the playground near the neighborhood pool. The cottage is beautifully appointed with hand-scraped hardwood flooring, quartz countertops, high-end furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows. SWEET DREAMS Both artfully designed bedrooms feature ultra-comfortable mattresses, sheets, and duvets. The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet — and an en-suite bathroom with reclaimed tile from France and dual showerheads. We walked several times to South Congress and took walks in the local park near the house. The rooftop patio would be a lovely hangout in Spring, Summer or Fall but it was a little too cold for us to use it on this trip. The property was walking distance to HEB and a few restaurants. The property was incredibly clean and quiet and we loved spending nights on the rooftop even in the July heat. The property manager was quick to respond to inquiries before arrival and graciously allowed us to drop our bags off prior to actual check-in. The ONLY downside to the property was the driveway. We had several ubers a day and only one of them the entire weekend would attempt the rocky steep driveway. We did not at all mind the walk down the driveway but if you are disabled, on crutches, or have some ambulatory issue this may be an issue for you.
