It's conveniently located to lots of fun Austin attractions. It's just a short drive to the TX Capitol building (6.5 miles in the heart of downtown) and a quick shot to UT (5.3 miles). It boasts an upstairs balcony off the master bedroom, a private fenced backyard with mature trees, and a colorful and fun atmosphere to relax and recuperate from enjoying the amazing city of Austin! The space: The unit has a private laundry for use, a workspace, a fully loaded kitchen for any cooking you would like to do. It also has a private backyard to enjoy. Other things to note Small pets under 35 lbs are welcome and in order for us to continue to be pet friendly, we’re asking you to not allow them on the furniture. It’s hard to get the smell out and we have had many complaints from non-pet owners who are sensitive or allergic to pet hair or dander. No aggressive breeds and no pets over 35 lbs allowed. There is a private fenced yard on the property. All pets must be housebroken, and owners are responsible for picking up droppings from the yard prior to check out. We also require a $150 deposit for pets for incidentals and the reservation will have an additional $50 non-refundable cleaning fee/pet to clear pet odors and hair after your stay. Please ask all questions if you plan to have a pet(s) during your stay prior to booking. THERE WILL BE A $250 FINE FOR THE FOLLOWING: \- NOT PAYING THE PET DEPOSIT \-HAVING PETS ON THE FURNITURE \-HAVING AN AGGRESSIVE BREED ON THE PROPERTY \-HAVING A LARGE PET IN EXCESS OF 35 LBS ON THE PROPERTY Close by eats and things>>>>> An easy drive to both Duval Biscuits and Groovy and the very yummy The Omelettry (under 3 miles :) For a nice dinner, Contigo is fun, lively and just a short drive away. Don't forget to save time and experience an Austin gem while in town. Sahara Lounge offers unique Austin nightlife and live music (7.1 miles). Little Longhorn Saloon is another entertaining Austin hot spot offering a unique experience with Chicken-poop bingo and live music every Sunday (only 3 miles)!!! If bringing the kiddos, Thinkery is a fun and one of a kind children's museum very close by (3.8 miles) We're available by phone throughout your stay. The best way to get ahold of me for non-urgent needs is by text. Getting around: We recommend accounting for using rideshare to commute (Uber and Lyft are readily available here) or renting a car to fully enjoy Austin from this unit. Not a walkable area. We go there and had 3 chairs to sit on for 4 people to eat at the table only 1 remote for 3 TV 's no smoke alarms in the apartment they were all taken down , the sofa in the living room was on three legs and a cement block. The place needs to be sprayed for roaches, the security lock on the front door was off I took pictures of every and showed the maintenance man With that being said the maintenance guy came the next day to fix what he could he was great they better keep him , he was the best . Not the nicest part of town. Also, it reeked of pot and constantly we got smells of pot coming in, probably from next door neighbor. Electrical is pretty shot. On Sunday morning we were without hot water. Apparently, there was a faulty breaker. Property manager told us he would be able to send someone out until Monday, which is when we were checking out. Not a neighborhood to feel safe walking for two women. Coffee maker doesn’t have carafe nor a brew basket so not usable. Due to washer being in upstairs hallway, there is a strong odor of washer, think it needs a good internal cleaning with some bleach run through a cycle. The place was clean, neat and modern. My fiancé and I were so excited to stay here because the property looked amazing online. We got here and were immediately disappointed. The area was in a rough part of town and there was police tape surrounding a nearby gas station. The outside of the property was incredibly run down and there were tall weeds and un-cut grass surrounding it. We hoped for the best when we walked in and were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of marijuana. This smell never left the entire time we were there (4 days). The manager at VRBO told us that this was a constant problem at this residence and that they suspect that a long-term resident of the property owner is to blame. The inside of the property was definitely not cleaned. There was hair, bottle caps, sticky floors, and dead/alive bugs all over. We had to drive to Target to buy blankets to sleep on/with because the beds were disgusting. We tried to contact the property owner (Michael Vasquez) to get this stuff fixed or to at least get an apology/explanation and he NEVER responded. Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay some place else. You can find a much nicer place in a much better area for the same price! We will never stay at another Vrbo because of this ONE horrible stay at this property. ##### Mark R.
