Its location close to restaurants was wonderful to us after a long day of driving. The hosts left some loaves of amazing bread and other goodies for us to snack on in the morning. Timeless with history, quaint. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Aside from being near a busy street, it was fairly quiet. We enjoyed listening to nature and sitting on the patio in the rocking chairs in the evening; very delightful. Only complaint was the bed was fairly uncomfortable and the AC at night didn’t stay very cool; the reason for 4 stars and not 5\. Otherwise this was a very nice place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend and we would come back and bring friends with us because there was an extra room with a queen bed. The breakfast basket was a nice touch- the homemade breads were delicious! Thank you to our hosts. The house was immaculate and cozy. The yummy sweetbreads, bagels, yogurt and juice were an added bonus at breakfast time. We enjoyed evenings on the front porch after a day of sightseeing and shopping in Dripping Springs , Austin, and nearby Wimberly.
