Watch breathtaking sunsets from the terrace. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a peaceful vacation or attend Austin’s events like Formula One or Austin City Limits. Two-story vacation rental of 2500 square feet living space plus two partially covered terraces sleeps 8 guests in a modern atmosphere reminding of an exquisite boutique hotel. Be one of the first guests in this luxurious accommodation finished in December 2021\. Since this is brand new, we do not have reviews yet – visit our other listing (“Bridge to Happiness”) to learn about our hospitality Ample parking space is available (two-car garage, two parking places adjacent to the house, more off street private parking). INSIDE THE HOUSE This spacious vacation rental is drenched in natural light and enjoys spectacular hill country views. A large open kitchen with island bar will make catering a breeze on those nights you want to stay in. Alternatively, enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace. At the second floor, the living room features a 65-inch flat screen TV and comfortable leather couches. The views from the 8-seat dining table will are unmatched. The dedicated WiFi access point provides quick and reliable internet connection. The large glass door brings the exquisite view inside. Also at the second floor, the master bedroom has a king-size bed. The adjacent master bathroom features a Jacuzzi soaking tub. The deep walk-in closet completes the master suite. A second bedroom at the second floor features a queen bed, bathroom and armoire. At the first floor two more bedrooms share a Jill-and-Jack bathroom. A parlor features 4 armchairs and a coffee table. The partially covered deck at the second floor and the partially covered terrace at the first floor have comfortable seating and coffee tables to enjoy breakfast, sunsets and the breathtaking hill country views. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The house sits on a secluded and very quiet street surrounded by large green areas. However, it is in close proximity to a large intersection of streets which make access easy. As advertised, a great view over the Barton Creek area west of town. We had no issues getting to downtown Austin. Apple Maps provided a nice back road way to downtown, near Lake Austin, if you tire of the highways. As some other reviews noted, all the essentials provided, though you may have expected a few more things that you may have at your home. Also, the neighborhood itself is convenient to church and retail. The host was accommodative to our requests and quick to respond. Just note, home is located on a access drive off the main subdivision road.. We wish that there were pathways to access the scenic areas beyond the subdivision. ##### John E. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Easy to get anywhere in Austin from that location. For the price/night, I would expect more in the house when compared to my previous experience with VRBO’s, Negatives: the home has basic furnishings and lacks decorating. No extras for families (like board games), no kitchen cloth towels and no wine glasses (although the owner tried to correct that by bringing over champagne glasses) and very little kitchen utensils (many of which were disposable plastic wear). My daughter’s boy friend visits us first time from San Francisco. Six of the family members stayed here . We enjoyed watching sunset on the deck. A lot of memories! Love this place! Property is fairly new, and kept very clean. Lots of space. Could use a little more furniture in the great room and a rug to help with acoustics. Access to the garage that can park two cars helped as there is really only one outside parking spot. WiFi was solid. Location is great for almost anything you need to reach in the Austin area. Beds were extremely comfortable. The only suggestion that I would make would be to have more towels and washcloths available so you don't have to wash every day and to put kleenex in each bathroom. Large common area was great for hanging out, beds were comfortable, great porch to sit out and have morning coffee. Host was responsive and easy to work with.
