The apartment was perfect. Great views and had everything we needed. Location was fantastic, near stores, walking trail along the river, and plenty of night life.
We celebrated a friend's birthday by staying here and it was great! The rooftop pool and cafe/bar downstairs was amazing. The proximity to all the downtown attractions made this an excellent spot to base from for a birthday weekend in Austin.
We had a great time staying here when we were in town for Pearl Jam at the Moody Center! Super easy to get around from here on the trails or just on the street.
We didn’t rent a car and ended up using the Lime scooters and were able to explore TONS of the city from our centrally located condo! Thank you!
It was so nice to have a kitchen along with a washer and dryer in our unit.
This is a very nice property, very clean and convenient. I would have given this five stars if it hadn’t been for the tiny bit of toilet paper left for us. We were told in advance that we got one roll of toilet paper, and would have to purchase additional ourselves, if need be. When we arrived mid afternoon, there was just a bit left on the roll and we had to go to the store right away to get more. The property manager did respond to my inquiry right away, but only reiterated that one roll of toilet paper was supplied, and we’d have to purchase additional. There was no way to get an additional roll without going to the store. I’m just glad we didn’t get in really late a night.
All in all a good experience. The parking situation is terrible. Long wait time, and no other option except to pay $40 per night for valet. I waited an hour one time while bringing car back. I would recommend you tell future guests that it is NECESSARY to pay the $40 fee since there are no other OPTIONS. Better to be straight up front. Also, when going on a vacation, the last thing you want to do is sit and wait to drop or pick up your vehicle.
Seemed brand new, still price tags in some things! Great things: super hair dryer, great layout, comfortable bed, good tvs, great view, secure building in perfect location in Rainey District, great appliances (Bosch) and excellent washer, dryer. Nice shower and provided high quality shampoo, conditioner, and body soap as well as cleaning supplies. 5 star. Worth every penny. Great work out area, pool, and new bar.
Suggestions: consider adding some hooks on the back of the bathroom door, only one towel rack (no place to hang bathrobe, make up bags), add more lighting to the bedroom: one bare lightbulb at bedside was not conducive to reading; please get the ice maker hooked up and working; shift the shower head down a tad, I couldnt do it.. water splashed out on the floor (safety hazard, slippery), toilet paper holder was loose, needed allen wrench to tighten the screw but didnt have one; the connection to the internet was unstable, had to reconnect tvs everyday, not sure if that is a unit specific issue or a building issue, but a great tip is to provide instructions to guests if, when it happens (if it is a reoccuring issue). Also, that area tends to lose electricity when it is really cold, a heads up to guests would be helpful. Power went on and off 6 times my first day there and I was uncomfortable going to sleep because I (like many folks) use a CPAP; my son lives next door and he clued me in on the issue. No problems at all once it warmed up above 30 degrees. Thx!!!
