The house is next to a school, which was not in session at the time of our visit. I imagine parking and noise level may be different during the school year. We came to town for a family wedding with my 2 adult kids and partners. It was a perfect house and location! We were able to walk to all the great places on south congress, the house was clean, and the beds were super comfy. Note: the master has windows above the bed with no shades so you may want an eye mask to block light and there are no locks on any interior doors. But that didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. The hosts were great, sending messages when needed beforehand but never bothered us during our stay. I would absolutely book this place again! Loved it. It was the perfect location, very clean, great amenities! Loved the record player with old albums! The only small disappointment was that they waited to send the checkin email until the morning of our stay which resulted in us waiting for about 30 minutes to get in when we arrived. She’s planning to attend St. Edwards University in the fall. Check in was smooth and seamless, communication was excellent, and the house was charming and eclectic. It was also very well stocked! Many of the items we use at home were conveniently found in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Little things like Whole Foods’ fruit wash spray and Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed being so close to South Congress and walked to the downtown area almost every day. You really can’t beat the location! The house was very clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars for cleanliness were because the exterior areas were quite dirty (no grass).
