We loved it! The service was great, rooms clean and beds very comfy. Kathy at the front desk was hospitable, sweet and very knowledable of the area. She made us feel so welcome. AJ the manager was also very hospitable and accommodating. When we return to Augusta we will be staying at The Augusta Best Inn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The internet is almost non existent. Most of the time I couldn't sign in. You needed to leave your room to get a cup of morning coffee. Office people were very nice though.

Complete dump
Complete flea bag dump if a motel/hotel. Booked for masters golf tournament. As expected total price gauge. For two nights total came to $660 with taxes etc..I've stayed at five star resorts for the same or less. However, the location is walking distance to course/restaurants so that's good but the room and facility is awful. Smells, dirty, small, loud. We actually brought my own sheets to put over the bed. There were bugs and a lot of dead flies in corner window of the room.

Not fit for your worst enemy
I called beforehand to inquire about "renovation". The place was terrible. Bed sheets like sand paper. Blinds with holes (rotted or bug eaten). Burn marks on the plastic bathtub. 1 poor excuse for a towel along with something that resembled a wash cloth. TV was an old CRT. Room reeked of smoke. Overall, the experience was so bad I didn't leave my suitcase in the room overnight. I stayed only out of necessity.

Masters week quarters
Masters Week practice round. Hotel staff very nice, had been updating rooms. Room nothing special but clean. Sound deadening would have been nice, could hear everything. Very expensive for 2 days, but it was for the masters. Convenient to stores, eateries and nightlife. Could have been worse.

The front desk staff were real nice pleasant to deal with. There were no issues at check in. They had drinks and snacks in the lobby. Didnt try the breakfast. The room was disgusting. I didn't want to take off my shoes. The walls had mold, dirt and grime. The air conditioning didn't really work, the latch on the door was missing and the peep hole was stuffed with paper. The only thing new in that hotel room was the shower curtain and remote control. Being that it was the masters wknd there was not much choice if you were watching what you spent. It was not worth the money.

close to Augusta National
Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. While close to Augusta National and way too costly due to Master's week, the hotel was disgusting. Dark, very dirty, and very noisy all night long. It said non-smoking and there was an emblem on door but it had an old smokey smell that they tried to mask with a room deodorizer. The breakfast was a joke. I will never get close to staying here again even in an emergency. I cannot believe hotels.com even gave it one star. You must have never visited there.
