« We had a lovely stay in this house. Situated on the river, it was a nice and peaceful retreat. We were an extended family of 6 (all ages) and this house and surroundings suited us all. Close to Belturbet, Cavan town, Ballyconnell etc. I found this house well situated as a base for travel slightly further afield. Contact with the host, Anita, was easy and prompt. We had great fun with the pool table also. Great for all the family »

« We had hoped to experience "the real Ireland" and that goal was achieved. This apartment gave us a great central location for visiting the Midlands and East to Dublin. Pat and Una gave us such a warm welcome - we really felt like part of the family. Additionally, we spent some lovely evenings at Weir's Bar and Restaurant for great food, great drink and, best of all, Irish hospitality. »

« The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). « We had a great time. The Old School House was an excellent choice for us. It was pet friendly with lots of outdoor space for our 2 dogs to explore. « Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay. »

« We loved the ruralness of the property but also the close proxmity to Roosky for shops and local bars. The property itself was very clean and well presented with everything provided that we could possibly need or want.We felt conpletely at home. The cottage was very homely. We loved our cow neighbours too! We would definately book this cottage again if we were n the area. »
