The Cottage boasts a Super King Bed for a touch of luxury, which can also be split into two singles if required for longer stays. The cozy lounge, has a two-seater couch. There are two flat screen TVs so you can enjoy a movie from the big bed too or even from the spa bath! The kitchenette has a separate fridge and freezer, microwave/convection oven. There is a coffee plunger, and you can enjoy your meals at the breakfast bar drenched in sunshine. Summer or Winter, Palm Beach is centrally located so all of Waiheke's attractions are close by and there is a bus stop right at the bottom of the driveway which services the ferry timetable. I didn’t realize how close the chalet was to the resort - their staff are super friendly and accommodating and it is a convenient spot to grab dinner or coffee if you don’t have a car on the island. However the proximity means there isn’t much privacy or seclusion. Amazing time here and would definitely stay again! ##### Scott N. The sea view is well worth the short but steep walkway. I do hope they trim the olive trees that are so healthy they threaten to block the beautiful view. The cottage is compact but neatly furnished with everything needed. It's one of several separately owned free standing units set within a small resort that caters to groups but is pleasantly non-corporate in atmosphere. As everywhere on Waiheke, the people are warm and helpful. We picked Palm Beach, a short walk, because it's quieter and a bit more secluded. We look forward to a return. ##### Crista Carr S.
