"Barry was an amazing host. When we arrived he gave us a tour to show us the smaller details of the property and explain some of the history - we loved the tour. The experience was so much fun. The property was well stocked with everything you need, kitchen was well stocked to host a dinner. Bathroom and laundry supplies were there to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Galway and recommend Ballindooley to anyone looking for a unique experience. "

"We loved our weeklong stay. Apartment had the perfect location as it was a short/easy walk to Eyre Square and next to the bus station that takes you all the way to Salt Hill. "The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"We stayed for three nights in this lovely home. The unfortunate part of this stay is that we barely had any hot water while we were there. We had to take cold showers based on the way the heating system worked. We shower in the evening and could get a warm show to save our lives. It made it tough at the end of a long day. Also, for the price And in today’s times, there should be WiFi access even if it is a paid amenity. It becomes difficult to plan your stay with no access to Wi-Fi."
