Custom home, professionally decorated and extremely inviting. There are two living rooms on the main floor, which would be nice if you have a lot of people staying in the home. There is a very large fenced in back yard if you have a dog, it would be a great place to stay. If I stay there again, I'd definitely take my dog. There is a park, that has a dog park, 1.5 miles from the home, and there are sidewalks all the way to it. I know this because I am a runner and I ran down to the park each day. There are also some trails at the park that were nice to run on as well. I also noticed a very nice tennis facility nearby. The fire pit is nice, plan to bring firewood. I was not able to easily find firewood around town, so plan ahead. This house was a great find! ##### Lisa S. Our best part was the patio we played cards and had drinks. The creek and the woods behind the home gave us a nature feel and a privacy vibe to spend the alone time together. We were in town for my daughter's graduation from the University of Georgia, and it was so nice to have a home to hang out in rather than being in hotel rooms. We were comfortable and able to spread out. Also, it is far enough out in the country to be quiet and away from the busyness of Athens, but you can be downtown in 15 minutes. Douglas was easy to get a hold of and quick to answer any questions. He is an excellent host, and I would highly recommend his home to other friends and family. ##### Skye C. We immediately felt comfortable at this property. When we arrived there was a herd of deer in the side yard and we loved watching them in the mornings and evenings. This home had plenty of sitting areas and would nicely accommodate families with different ages. It had everything we needed for our family to spend Thanksgiving together.
