"The cabin was warm and cozy and our entire family of 7 had a wonderful time sleeping in the cabin. The location is on the mid-hill of Hanlla Mountain and to get to the nearest convenience store is about 4kms away. We had a rental car to get around, so it was manageable. The owner was very friendly and waited for us although we arrived later than the check-in time. Overall it was a great stay and the kids kept saying they would be coming back to visit again."

"Cosy/homely and very clean place but not modern. A countryside feel. The first day we could not see Mt Fuji but we were lucky that we had non-cloudy clear days subsequently. Con: It was tiring dragging luggage for 15min to the hotel and google maps helped. There is no path so you share with cars. There was a small part of the walk where you hoped the van or bus or truck stayed in their lane. Please consider offering subsidized or free transport to and from the bus stop. "Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend."

"You get what you pay for. The room was surprisingly big. Aged but working bathroom. Mattress is soft, so those with back problems, be aware. The surrounding feels a but unsafe and dodgy. Even though its a buys main street but it feels like you've been watched."

"What can I say other than amazing. The room was very clean and essentials were plentiful. The location is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city scene. Main tourist attractions are within a nice walking distance, but public transport is not as accessible. "Minatogawa is a small harbor area. It's quiet but chilled out and relaxing. There's nowhere quite like Marinx Classic Harborview Pension. Biggest bed I've had in Japan, great staff, brilliant food. I really needed the chance to relax and I got it. This is an ideal spot to explore Southern and Western Okinawa if you drive. Even for walking There's good beaches nearby and Oujima is a pleasant walk with a lot of friendly cats."
