Already booked for May!! Great hotel

We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.

Parking was good. We didn’t need ac but the fan was adequate.

This was a good cheap clean option. It was exactly what we wanted. Bang for buck!!

You come here for the views and the nature. - Check-in was a bit annoying, since there is no front desk and everything is supposed to be virtual, yet you are not given your room number or passcode virtually - that is texted to you. That was a problem for me as an international traveller with no working cellphone. Had to message the owner and have the information emailed to me. - Everything was very clean. Old fashioned motel. Very pleasant proprietor and room was clean and satisfactory.
