« We were in the area for a funeral and to finalize an estate. This home was quiet making it easy to converse with other family members. Kitchen was adequately equipped and dining room table became a good conference table. We did use the laundry facilities - easy to work with. Bedrooms were large with good sized closets and COMFORTABLE beds. Bathrooms very clean with good hot showers. « We stayed here for 16 days in May 2025. We live locally, but we needed a place to stay while contractors repaired flood damage in our home. With everything going on at our own house, our nerves were pretty fried. Given our frazzled state, words fail to describe my gratitude for being able to stay at this home. « The property was nicely renovated and well stocked and as described in the listing. The AC was especially nice as we happened to be in town on one of the hottest weeks of the summer! « Enjoyed the amenities, we used the peddle boat and row boat and hits some golf balls. Wish we had time for all the other amenities offered. »

« The home was lovely. 4 of us stayed, as we were in town for a memorial. After the memorial 10 of us gathered to look at pictures and chat. It was comfortable for a get together. Rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoy our stay and would definitely stay here in the future. Host was helpful and quickly responded to our questions. »

« Wonderful experience!Beautiful, fenced in, in-ground pool, pool house, games, all the necessities in the pool house, including couches, towels, TVs, bathroom, kitchen area with full dishes, cups, utensils, etc. Main house has lots of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms. Big kitchen and dining areas. Family rooms, TV, pool table and foosball. Plenty of room(s) for all the kids, grandkids and a dog!Plus separate building with bedrooms and kitchen area. « Nice view, saw a few foxes, and heard bird songs every morning. Comfortable 4 poster bed, comfortable seating in living room.Nice patio in back. More cabin than cottage with resident spiders and ants. Well water is a treat, but water pressure is poor while pool next door is being filled. Access to Round Valley is not as easy as it looks in the picture. I got lost on the way back, so mark your path. Owner promised to deep clean, so give it a try, but check the oven when you get there. « Six friends and I rented Joan's lovely pace for a personal reunion, and our 50th high school reunion for a week in June. The VRBO pictures and descriptions did not do the place justice! So many comfy places to gather inside and out, and the added attraction of being right on the Delaware River made our 4-night stay extra special. The house was spotlessly clean; the kitchen well-appointed, and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Joan is the consummate hostess who was available from the moment...

« You probably won't find a more beautiful, peaceful, delightful place. Out in the countryside but so much to do near by. Listening to the sheep, ducks and chickens was home for me. Has everything we needed inside and out. Much thought by the owner has gone into this home to make it a wonderful place to stay.The owner was a very so friendly and a delight to talk to. Definitely would recommend staying here. »

« My family had a great stay here. It's a very unique and artful space. It worked great for six of us varying in age ranges with 2 adults and 4 kids. The Salvage Sip Cafe just up Main Street has great coffee and some breakfast items like croissants, bagels, and muffins. We're in this area somewhat regularly and would definitely stay here again. :-) »
