"We felt as if we'd traveled back in time. The grounds are oozing history, charm and elegance. It was nice with the windows open, listening to the pitter patter of students’ feet heading to class, having a morning jog or groups having a laugh together. Most pleasant staff we’ve experienced to add to the terrific stay! In particular, we had drinks before turning in for the night, at the hotel bar. Kinga and Angela efficiently served our drinks, all while flitting around getting the place cleaned and set up for the morning crew. We had an excellent chat about a multitude of subjects and a great laugh. What a pair of wonderful Ladies! Honestly, we didn’t expect to have such a great visit. Clean rooms, common areas, modern and the breakfast was 5*! Our server, Sancha didn’t blink an eye when I ordered my fussy breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly and the black pudding/haggis stack was worth the visit alone! I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!"

"My wife and I had an exceptional experience at the Apex Waterloo. Besides a room with a great view of the city, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us at every turn. Having a drink at the bar located in the hotel was just the perfect finishing touch to a day in the city. Certainly a 5 star hotel at a reason price. "
