Excellent location. The property was in good condition and the kitchen was well equipped. The only downside was that the drain or pipes had a very unpleasant smell, which caused the entire apartment to smell bad.

This property is great as long as you are mobile since you have to climb at least one set of stairs and need to climb into a loft bed. Unit is great for a longer stay with laundry, microwave and fridge and very comfortable. Very good value.

The location was perfect for seeing all the sites and meeting tour guides. It was nice to make breakfast for a change and not rush out to eat. We needed to do laundry and the in suite washer was perfect. No dryer, though they did provide a rack. Some info about near by grocery stores would be nice. If arriving by train, take the no steps route! You will thank me.

We had a wonderful stay and not only would recommend but return. Booking a suite with kitchen amenities and washing machine made our stay and adjustment a lot easier. Communication with host and staff was also very pleasant, and they were washer to help and answer any questions.

Loved it and loved Edinburgh. Hope to get back. Amazing place, everything central, great vibe. The unit itself was cute and interesting. A little dark perhaps, wouldn't be ideal in cloudy winter days but this isn't uncommon it seems. The bathroom "ensuite" was in what appeared to have been an old safe. It was a little slippery getting in and out of the shower - non-slip grip tape would be useful. Also nowhere to hang towels was a nuisance. Minor setbacks overall. Everything else was great.

Room for improvement: Fix the wobbly kitchen table, leave instructions about how to use the toilet if no other replacement option available, fix the oven racks, provide a microwave, dryer, kitchen needs oven mitts, living room carpet is stained and old. Check the cupboards-we found underwear there. We liked: location was amazing, check in was seamless, space was large and welcoming. We liked all the windows and size of fridge. Building was kept clean. We liked the slippers provided and the kitchenware.
