"The property is older and needs some updating and repairs, but the staff was lovely, the food was fine for the price. The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. I would stay here again."

"We loved our stay here. We picked this hotel because of the electric car charger so that we could charge our rental car overnight on our way from Bari to Sorrento. We had a lovely dinner and the host was very hospitable 😀"

They were generous with their time for recommendations and had time for stories as well as allowed us to leave our bags in the main lobby when we had to wait for a train. "I should start by saying I never planned to stay at this hotel. Our flight was delayed overnight & we had a last minute panic looking for hotels late in the evening. I feel like we had won the lottery when we had booked this hotel & got to see in the light of day what a beautiful space we were in. We arrived at the hotel very late - 11:45pm. Whilst the kitchen was closed, the small group of stranded passengers from the airport were all hungry. The team pulled together some beautiful anti pasti boards for us all. The rooms were a pure delight - the bed sheets were so soft - it felt like we were sleeping in butter! A great selection of toiletries & even wine for sale in the room. When we woke up in the morning & saw our surroundings we were truly blown away. Rolling hills with the vines growing around us. Just WOW! Breakfast was served in the restaurant - it was stunning in there. The food was cooked to perfection. Honestly - I wish we had gotten there earlier, or could have stayed longer to really enjoy everything this hotel has to offer. Feels like a real hidden gem! In the end - I have never been so grateful for a flight delay. My only (tiny) grumble, was that it was advertised we would get a free welcome gift, but when asked - I was told no gift. It would have been nice to have a bottle of wine included in the rate. Perhaps it was because we booked it so last minute!? "

"This hotel was not my first choice. It was the only place with accommodation during the period of my visit. Expedia and the hotel web site state check-in is at or after 4:30PM. When we arrived, there was no staff on site. We had to call and wait for people to arrive to check us in. The only time there was "front desk" staff was when someone telephoned for them. This applied for check-out times as well. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and their pickings are pretty slim: fruit, a croissant, coffee, jam. The rooms are secured with standard keys and there's no Master key. In order for your room to be serviced, you have to leave your door open, accessible to anyone in the building until the maid finished and locks up. The air conditioning was poor (outside temps were 80's and 90's in August) and it was their practice to turn the A/C off when the room is serviced. After spending a day out in the blistering sun we returned to rooms which weren't much cooler than the outdoor temps. Parking is extremely limited and the lot is narrow making it difficult to get in and out even with a compact car. The worst part was the black mold around the bathroom windows. This hotel is rated as 3 Stars. It doesn't deserve the 3. Unless there is no place available for the period of your stay, I would avoid this hotel. They really need to get rid of the mold."
