"People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail. Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. "Simply excellent - one of the best holiday properties we have ever stayed in - certainly value for money. An abundance of towels/bedding, crockery etc. We did encounter a dishwasher problem - no ones fault and this was resolved within two days with a new dishwasher - note one of those days was a public holiday - first class service from our hosts.A very tranquil location but within just a few miles of Porge Plague - the most amazing beach we have ever visited. Supermarkets within a short distance of the property. Many thanks to you both - we had the most wonderful relaxing holiday"

"We stayed in Le Porge, with our lively springer spaniel, and this gite was a great choice for us. The property was clean and comfortable, and the designated parking space was a bonus. The owners were very friendly and the free range eggs from their chickens were delicious! The beach at Le Porge Ocean was fabulous and we recommend a visit to Arcachon and also taking the ferry from Lamarque to see the Citadelle de Blaye. "
