« Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some...

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the house is well furnished and provisioned with all required for an enjoyable stay. "Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet hôtel et avons été malheureusement déçus du rapport qualité-prix. À plus de 700 francs la nuit, nous nous attendions à un niveau de confort nettement supérieur. La chambre était très petite et la salle de bain mal pensée : aucun support pour le papier toilette, simplement posé sur un meuble… ce qui n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur d’un établissement 4 étoiles. Cela dit, nous tenons à souligner la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel, ainsi que la qualité du petit-déjeuner, varié et complet. Nous avons dîné une fois au restaurant de l’hôtel : repas décevant et service peu agréable ce soir-là. Les environs sont jolis, surtout par beau temps, et offrent un cadre reposant. Mais globalement, l’expérience ne justifie pas le prix demandé. "
