"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "This was an excellent place to stay but expensive. But worth it as a treat. But the old saying you get what you pay for is certainly applies to this place! The front desk was unbelievable. They took your bags upstairs for you. They catered to every whim. I would definitely recommend this place. The food was excellent."
