« We had such a great stay! This was our second time booking with this host, but our first time in this particular home—and it did not disappoint. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. You can really tell the host puts thought into making guests feel comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely stay again! »

« Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The outdoor deck was a fabulous spot to hang out with the family. My only negatives…were the extra firm beds and not being able to access the open water, even with waders, due to sinking in the mud. Adding a couple of paddle boats- 1 for each cabin- would be a huge bonus, but you can’t help the lake levels. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. »

« Very cute and cozy place to stay. The host was also quick to respond to any messages I sent. I definitely recommend staying here. It was also nice because it was within a couple minutes drive of boat launches as well as gas stations and a mini grocery store. We really enjoyed our stay. »

« The host was great and very responsive to any questions.I fished the walk-around pond, but it was quite muddy due to rain earlier in the week, and I didn’t get any bites or see signs of fish. I imagine fishing would be better in the spring or summer. »

« What a wonderful place to stay! Everything was clean and fresh ! The view from the back deck area was stunning and peaceful. The bunkbeds were such a treat for our kids and we loved all of the Goat Shack decor! The host was super welcoming and left us an adorable Goat Shack T shirt as a welcome gift. Everything about checking in and out was easy and we will definitely be coming back! It was perfect! »

« Really unique place. Kinda down a sketchy road, but once you get down to the cabin it was pretty nice. Cabin was cozy and modern with a bunch of great light fixtures. Cabin is clean and well kept. However, we had an issue with the lock and the host was pretty slow to respond. Luckily, we resolved it on our own. Also, it would be nice to have a key to the door closest to the parking area not walking around in the dark to the door straight into the bedroom. I will possibly be in the area next year...
