Bucks Head is a secluded cabin tucked away in the woods of East Texas. This open-concept cottage includes a king bed, a loveseat, and a comfortable occasional chair for watching your favorite streaming app on TV. An electric fireplace provides the perfect romantic ambience year-round and additional warmth in the winter. The kitchenette includes a coffee bar and provides all the necessary supplies for preparing meals and snacks. It is equipped with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, efficiency-sized stove/oven, and a refrigerator/freezer. French doors lead from the kitchen to a private, covered deck with a table and chairs for outdoor enjoyment. A window seat allows one to relax and enjoy a captivating woodsy view or could serve as additional bedding for a younger child (not recommended for an adult or older child). The bathroom has a unique palladium window by the Jacuzzi tub so guests can soak and relax while enjoying a view of tall hickory and oak trees. A shower is also provided. The cabin is kept comfortable with thermostatically controlled heat and air. In addition, an electric fireplace, ceiling fan, and a portable fan are available. \*\*\*IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT OUR PROPERTY\*\*\* The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. The hot tub is a fairly close walk from this cabin, but as noted above, this cabin has an indoor jacuzzi tub. The hot tub may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. We have a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. The secluded, wooded area where cottage was located was just fabulous. The peace and quiet was wonderful. It was a very restful stay and private! The cabin was quite cozy, very clean and comfortable. The fresh towels mid-week were a pleasant surprise. The serenity of the woods is always wonderful for the soul ~ the birds calling in the morning, the racoon peeking around the corner of the cabin as we sat on the porch, and the wild hog with 3 babies that crossed in front of us as we entered one evening. The host, Sabrina, is such a lovely person to work with. The story of this property is delightful and the binder on the desk is very helpful with other information as well.
