"The name does not do justice to the amenities and services provided by this “boutique hotel”. Charles was extremely helpful in checking us in. He gave us recommendations for places to visit, even printed out the maps. Then we asked for a vegetarian restaurant and not only did he recommend, he even printed out the menu. We went the following morning and had brunch there and it was excellent! Back to the amenities provided - which “motel” on this planet provides Nespresso Vertuo, high-end toiletries, Damask sheets? This one does. And that’s because Charles maintains it as if it was his home. That is what sets this apart from all other places. I would give this place 6 stars if I had a way to. And did I mention about the Mascot? How can anyone not fall in love with his handsome loving cat!"

"A rustic, out of the way inn in a gorgeous setting, they put us last minute in a simple room, that was well-appointed with thoughtful amenities - good coffee in the room, comfortable, but best of all, with a balcony overlooking a lovely pond - charming. Inviting sitting rooms, very welcoming and helpful staff. Of course, the on-site James Beard-awarded restaurant makes it all that much more special."

"If you need a clean, quiet place to sleep, this hotel works well. There are very few amenities. There's no breakfast and the town is so small it was hard to find anything to eat in the morning. The evening meal at a nearby restaurant was excellent. TV was only available if you sign into your own provider. That took a while to figure out. There are no written instructions ."

"This house was a great stopping place between Bryce Canyon NP and Capitol Reef NP! After a full day at BCNP, we stayed here two nights before traveling to CRNP. We were two couples so sharing the one bathroom was a bit of a challenge, but we knew there was only one and we knew we could handle it :) This is an old house that has been so beautifully updated, but is loaded with lots of charm and all the essentials. The beds are comfy and the living area is spacious. Plenty of seating for our party of four. We spent one entire day in the area and would highly recommend Devil’s Garden, the Petrified Wood Trail at Petrified Forest State Park, and a stop at Singing Canyon on your way to Capitol Reef. Also, make sure you go outside and look at the stars! They’re amazing!!"
