Clean place to sleep. Room only though. I never saw the main room used as the picture. And the room was very small. Snack mix and coffee were nice amentiies.
Room did have microwave even though listing didn’t mention it. Also the property had a hotel size ice machine as well! Only ding is that we had to reach out to get the access code to our room instead of them providing it to us. They were prompt but this was a stress and hassle at the end of a long day.
Perfect place for two backpackers to stay the night in Escalante. Loved the coffee bar, bed was comfy and we slept amazing before our backpacking trip.
Cute coffee bar, clean and cute room-comfortable bed. Liked the patio in rear of the nuilding with table and chairs and a grill available. Would be great for a family reunion to all stay at the same place yet have separate bedrroms and bathrooms... could hang out in rear patio.
My visit was short but I found my room,Lil Jo's Bunkhouse, just as pictured. It was very clean and the bath was well stocked with clean towels and amenities. Though I did not use the patio with grill,I could see it was well equipped with all the grilling essentials. I arrived late and had no problem accessing my room with the supplied door code. The Inn is set back off the main street and was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.
Easy to find and access our room via a door code. We never interacted with staff. Comfortable bed, great shower, and plenty of space. However, the walls are a bit thin which meant we could hear our neighbors.
Cozy and exactly what you need, cloud comfy bed, soft pillows, ample outlets for charging things, heat worked great, hot shower with awesome pressure. Staying here again next time we are in the area.
We had an excellent stay at Ponderosa Inn. The room was on the smaller side but cozy and comfortable. Communication from host was timely and and made for a seamless visit.
Nice place. Cute decor, clean room, comfortable bed. Sliding bathroom door a little hard to move at times. Not a huge room but more than enough room for us.
The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I really need to find out what sheets they use because they are super high quality! It was very cozy and we had the Little Jo room towards the back which was great because we took the steak on the barbecues that were there and hung out under the little pergola in the new chairs. Then we proceeded to go down to the market and get some firewood to have a little bonfire in the back! It was fantastic and was definitely the best time we've ever had staying in a hotel. We also thought it was neat about the self check-in feature as it was super easy and didn't have to deal with any people at a desk or any lines. Two thumbs up 10 out of 10!
There was a bit of a snafu with the check in process, as we didn’t get the email with the room name and door code. It was fixed relatively quickly. The rooms are freshly remodeled, and very nice. It’s a rustic atmosphere, and very comfy! Great value, and we’ll certainly stay here again if we’re in the area.
Pleasantly surprised by the Ponderosa Inn. Nondescript from the outside, but the room was very appealing. Well-appointed, with a very tall wood-clad ceiling. Contactless entry went fine. The microwave in the common area was put to good use heating up the excellent pizza from the nearby Escalante Outfitters.
