"Enjoyed the am breakfast every am. Staff was friendly. The toilet seat was cracked in the bathroom and a maintenance man came right away and replaced it. He was very friendly and concerned about a funeral I had to attend. The room was clean and very neat. Front desk staff was also friendly and courteous. Enjoyed my stay."

"Lovely historic inn! Very well appointed and spacious room, comfortable common area, attentive hosts, great breakfast (including eggs from the inn's beautiful chickens, and homemade bread), mattress was quite firm (whether it is too firm is just a matter of taste). One suggestion: have pullout sofas in the larger rooms and suites that include sofas -- our son was a little too tall for the non-pullout sofa. He still found a way to sleep on it comfortably, but others may not. Other than that, an excellent stay! "
