"The staff was excellent. Very kind and helpful. The shower did not work correctly. It would alternate between scalding hot and ice cold. Maybe I didn’t understand the controls…breakfast was very good. Bed comfortable."
"Rooms were amazing But a little hot during the night. This is with the radiator turned off.
For the price of food you would expect more on your plate.

"This time, I returned back to Southampton as a guest this time since I moved out. It’s the only place for sure I’d stay to reminisce about all the good memories and experiences. I recommend Bartley Lodge wholeheartedly! Many thanks and see you again! "

"Lovely small property with so much character, lovely staff and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The stairs are a little wonky, as others have noted, but if you don't mind a bit of a tilt, they are quite manageable!"
"Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Views of the river Avon and only short walk to the cathedral. They also offer a van ride service into Salisbury in the evenings so you don't need to drive in and park for dinner!"
"Great stay in a comfortable well equipped, top floor attic room. Wifi a bit hit and miss, but manager was very helpful and tried to reboot it. Should have asked if they had a couple of softer pillows. Complimentary biscuits, and water in room, nespresso coffee machine, smart tv and great refurbed bathroom with touchlit mirror, pleasant branded shampoo, conditioner and shower gel."
