Historic downtown streets lead to the birthplace of Habitat for Humanity and the stunning Windsor Hotel. Spend mornings at nearby Plains exploring Jimmy Carter's roots, then return for local peach ice cream at Café Campesino.
the hotel was excellent. it's a older property so you must expect that. rooms where large. beds extremely comfortable. clean.
staff was great.
Warren at the front desk is always polite and courteous to us.
Rosemary & Thyme restaurant for breakfast was good. we got Eggs, toast and bacon. good to start the morning.

A one night stay while dropping our son off to college.
An older hotel that had a partial refurbishment at some point. Parts of the hotel were shabby - walls, door frames, furniture.
Reception staff were friendly.

Loved the location, views and amenities on the property. Wish we would have stayed in the main lodge instead of a villa for proximity to hot tub and restaurant. Also how tub was not workinf properly (jets) and the staff were not trained on how to use it. Dont waste money on a rollaway. The mattresses need to be replaced.
