The spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas offer plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and feel at home. There is also a nice yard that lends lots of room for everyone to roam and run. This house has a great yard for humans and pets to burn off pent up energy from a long drive. The space: This Craftsman style house was built in 1924 and still has all the charm of a 100 year old house. A charming 3 bedroom 1 bath home with spacious detached single car garage offers the charm of yesteryear combined with the modern conveniences of today. Newly refurbished throughout with beautifully restored original hardwood floors, new paint and texture, modern central heat and air and upgraded electrical. The large country kitchen boasts new cabinetry and a convenient island. Centrally located within walking distance to Amarillo College and quick access to both I-40 and I-27. Pet friendly. Even has a large kennel folded up in the front closet and a doggie door. There is a cabinet near the back door that has some pet toys and some old towels you are welcome to use to wipe down your dog after a day of red dirt at Palo Duro Canyon. Our Zinus brand green tea, memory foam mattresses are amazing. Refreshing green tea, plush-as-a-cotton-ball memory foam that make sleep a little more wonderful. Our queen and twin Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress features proprietary green tea and charcoal infused memory foam. Antioxidant-rich green tea helps keep our mattresses fresh, and ActivCharocal microparticles block moisture. Precisely layered CertiPUR-US certified foams allow you to sink into this mattress just right, for a supportive feeling that cradles your achiest joints and aligns your spine. Open-air pockets in the middle layer of comfort foam encourage airflow so you don’t overheat, while adding extra comfort beneath areas that need it most, like the shoulders, hips and knees. Let your sweet dreams really do come true. Along with the amazing memory foam mattresses, the bedrooms all have an assortment of firm and soft pillows, soft sheets, bedspreads, and comforters. Your good night's rest is especially important to us. The kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes, flatware, pots/pans, baking sheet, toaster, utensils, etc needed to prepare meals. There are also paper goods in the cupboard. There is a teapot, coffee pot, coffee, a variety of sweeteners, creamer, tea packets, apple cider, bottled water and other miscellaneous goodies in the pantry. The bathroom has all necessary linens, as well as, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We also have small toiletry items available that you may have forgotten when packing for your trip. The living area has a large television with access to multiple channels thru AT&T TV and Roku and Netflix. There is also a collection of books, board games, playing cards for entertaining. Guest access: Guests have access to the entire 3 bedroom house 1 bathroom house, the fenced back yard, front yard, long single drive and circle driveway, and a single car garage upon request. Other things to note: The Craftsman House is equipped with an August brand smart lock. It is very user friendly. Confirmed guests will receive an access code via email. Comfortable beds. Very cute home, and having the garage access was great with all of my college student’s belongs in the car. Chips and local salsa were a much appreciated gesture when we arrived late and starving. Earplugs were also a nice touch- house is in a somewhat busy road although the traffic noise didn’t really bother us. ##### Kathleen G. We love to play games and the set up was perfect...large round table in the dining room did the trick. Others have complained that the home is on a loud busy street, but it didnt seem that bad to us. Super clean, everything you'd need. So pet friendly, which is hard to find.We had everything we needed, were so comfortable, and loved staying here. We originally booked it for one night while we were moving across the country. The winter storm put a wrench in our plans and, thank goodness, we were able to book it again for a second night.We cant say enough about the house and the owners. ##### Daniel S.
