8/10 Good
"They have recently updated the rooms so it looked pretty good. the lobby is quite simple and could use some updating. We were there for a reunion and could have used more nice sitting spaces to talk in between the planned events that we had. We did use the bar Saturday which closed at a disappointing 10pm. The bartender was nice enough to give us some drinks a bit after that but it would have been really nice to have it open later on a weekend"

How much does a budget hotel in Amanda cost?
Budget hotel prices in Amanda vary, but you can find a great deal from CA $142 on Expedia. Stretch your budget further by looking for hotels with free breakfast, free parking or free airport shuttles. Sort your search results by "Price: low to high" to see our lowest rates.
Which area of Amanda is best to stay in for cheap hotels?
For travellers seeking cheap hotels in Amanda, Ohio, focusing on its main thoroughfares and the outskirts of the village will likely yield the most budget-friendly accommodation options. Given Amanda's small size, most hotels will be found along or just off State Route 22, which runs through the heart of the community.Solo travellers and couples might find smaller, independently owned motels or guesthouses along State Route 22 to be the most affordable. These establishments often provide basic, clean rooms without extensive amenities, perfectly suiting those primarily looking for a place to sleep after exploring the local countryside. While Amanda itself is a small village, checking accommodations in nearby larger towns like Lancaster, just a short drive away, could also present more options that fit a budget.
When is the most affordable time to visit Amanda?
The most affordable time to visit Amanda, Ohio, is generally during the shoulder seasons of spring (late March to May) and autumn (September to October). During these periods, the weather is pleasant, and you can often find lower prices on accommodation and flights compared to the peak summer months.Solo travellers will find these times particularly appealing as the crowds are thinner, making it easier to secure deals on lodgings and enjoy local attractions without the hustle and bustle. The local community often hosts smaller, more intimate events in spring and autumn, offering a genuine taste of Amanda without the higher costs associated with major summer festivals. While winter (November to early March) might offer even lower prices, the colder weather and potential for snow can limit outdoor activities, which might not be ideal for those looking to explore the area's natural beauty on a budget.
Is Amanda a budget-friendly destination?
Yes, Amanda, Ohio, is a budget-friendly destination, especially for those seeking a quiet escape and a taste of American small-town life without breaking the bank. For couples or solo travellers, accommodation options like a bed and breakfast or a locally-owned inn often provide good value. The town itself is easily walkable, eliminating the need for extensive public transport.Much of Amanda's charm comes from its free or low-cost activities. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls through the town, admiring the historic architecture and local shops. Exploring the surrounding natural beauty, perhaps at a nearby park or nature reserve, offers a refreshing and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon. Dining at local diners and cafes will also prove to be very affordable, providing hearty meals at reasonable prices.
What free activities should we do in Amanda?
In Amanda, Ohio, budget-conscious solo travellers will find several free activities to enjoy, primarily centred around the natural beauty of the region. One excellent option is exploring the local parks; these often feature walking trails and scenic spots great for a peaceful stroll or a quiet afternoon of contemplation. The countryside around Amanda also offers opportunities for scenic drives, allowing you to take in the rural landscape at no cost. For solo travellers interested in local history, simply wandering through the village can be a rewarding experience. You can admire the architecture of older buildings and soak in the small-town atmosphere, which provides a glimpse into local life without spending a penny.

Bundling can lead to significant savings, especially for international travel or when booking well in advance. However, savings vary depending on factors like destination, travel dates, and availability, so it's wise to compare options. Can I cancel my budget hotel reservation on Expedia?

Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy.
