The best time to visit Pozo Azul is during the shoulder seasons, specifically April to June and September to November, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller.During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C, which is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, including the nearby Moconá Falls. The humidity is also lower than in the summer months, making outdoor activities more enjoyable. Temperatures can reach up to 35°C, and while there are more tourists, the lush greenery of the rainforest is at its peak. However, be prepared for higher humidity and more frequent, though often short-lived, thunderstorms.
