« Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. « This two bedroom house was the perfect little retreat for us and our son and his wife. It's located in a beautiful, tree lined neighborhood within walking distance of our daughter's house, where we were visiting. We watched many a World Cup soccer game comfortably on the large TV in the living room. »

« Excellent communication and very accommodating to our needs! Quaint place and comfortable although bathroom is very small and minimal kitchenette. Should add to listing that is no parking on site. Would definitely stay again. »

« This old Loft is exactly as advertised and spectacular! Located in a terrific area in Old Town Alexandria, with easy access to many great restaurants and shops. The ability to provide parking for 25 per night is outstanding. Very secure and safe, and Located about 50 steps from the loft. Perfect. Finally, David is the ultimate host. Kudos. « The location was excellent — very convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and everything Old Town has to offer. The property itself was comfortable and a great home base for exploring the area.The main downside was the noise. The bed room facing the busy street was quite loud, especially at night and early in the morning , and it made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. « The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. A lot of windows high up that don't have blinds/curtains, and it can get bright in the morning. »
