It was cozy, clean, and comfortable during my late fall visit to Alexandria. And it was literally steps away from King street, great food, and all the things! I will definitely stay here again. It is definitely a small studio unit for one or two, but the well stocked kitchen has full sized appliances and the bathroom is a nice size and very nice. The host was easy to work with. Old Town is so unique and wonderful and this quaint little carriage House is located at the perfect spot. The courtyard is very nice to enjoy and you can walk to hundreds of restaurants and bars. Thomas was very accommodating and responsive with anything that we needed. I would recommend this place for anyone to stay! We hope to visit Old Town again. I’ve never seen any other city like it. The location is right off of King Street and right in the middle of all the action, restaurants and waterfront. The studio apartment has all you need for a home-away-from home feeling. We loved the colonial vibe of the building and neighborhood. It is the most quiet place we have stayed. You do have to ascend a 7-8 step iron spiral staircase to get to the door.
