"We were quite confused about parking after 2 different front desk employees gave us different parking instructions. “Just park in the open lot…or…Park in the parking garage.” They neglected to tell us that WE pay to park, although the first employee seemed to suggest parking was included in the hotel price. We wasted a good 30 minutes trying to figure out the parking payment system for hotel guests, but finally chose the garage, now at a higher price due to dynamic event pricing with an event at the nearby Palace Theater that evening which we were attending. There was nobody around from the Albany Parking Authority to ask what to do although they had a number of their vehicles parked around the 2 lots. But no actual parking “ officers” to assist. Please clarify to those staying at your hotel. Other than that, we have no other complaints. It was a great place to stay, and very close to the Palace Theatre. But that parking situation needs to be clarified."

"What a lovely place right in the middle of Wolf Rd! The check in experience was lovely, Staff went out of her way to explain all the amenities. They have a fire pit and she mentioned if we wanted to use it, just let them know and they would turn it on. They don't want to waste fuel just running it. I found that so kind and inviting. Room was gorgeous, loved the little kitchen area. Breakfast was BIG. My favorite part was the system used to dispense wine, beer, or cocktails using a hotel room key card! No need for a bar and charged to your room. Didn't get to use hot tub or pool but they looked nice. This place is really nice if you are doing more than just sleeping in your room."

"The room and property is clean, staffs are friendly. But the old warehouse structure makes it not the best sound proof, you can hear every steps from the upstairs. Overall a great experience, highly recommended!"

"The St. Charles hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for a great location to stay. It's within walking distance of restaurants and close to places to visit. However the WiFi network does kick out a lot."
