"My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this very clean home walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in back yard was perfect for them. The rear deck with outdoor lighting and the guest cottage are very nice and the home could easily accommodate larger groups and families. The host was attentive and easy to contact. "You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo (Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge). Hope to finish the history article Eric wrote about Cape Colony and Edenton on our next visit. Don't hesitate to book if you enjoy long walks in a quiet neighborhood and relaxing with a view.
