"We have stayed at a few different house on the island and this was far and a way the best. You are right on an incredible sand beach and the pool looks over it. The house itself is very well kept and comfortable. We ran into a bit of an “island snafu” and both the owner and property manager were very concerned and helpful. The only comment that I might make is the title of the listing uses the word private. You definitely have neighbors, but your lot is large enough. We will be back!"

"Lavender House was amazing! Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and host provides high quality appliances in kitchen if you like to cook meals. "The property was clean, quaint and was well supplied with kitchen equipment, toiletries, etc. It's a great location in terms of traveling north or south on Eluethra. Chris was responsive and his trip planner came in handy such as where to go, eat and have fun! Bahamians were friendly and helpful as well!"

"Our second time staying here. Location is excellent- near the Gov Harbor airport, and a 10 minute rasy walk to one of the finest beaches on the planet. Minutes after booking we received very detailed information on the island and the property - this info goes above and beyond the basics and is worth reading in total. Chris was attentive and professional and dealt with our car rental efficiently and responded very quickly when needed. The property is ideal for 2 couples and the layout is excellent. We did notice that some minor maintenance will be required soon - eg the wooden deck has developed soft spots due to weathering. We will be back. Thanks. "

"What an idyllic piece of paradise! The lovely home with its gorgeous views and refreshing breezes was pristinely clean thanks to Linda! We loved the breezy porch surrounded with coconut trees with glimpses of the aqua colored waters. The house appeared recently painted and updated. It was well outfitted and included snorkeling gear as well. The beach was deserted and the water entrance sandier than some with great snorkeling. It’s one of those places you wish you could stay at forever. We will be back. "
