"We enjoyed the house and neighborhood however the listing didn’t quite match up with how it as described online. It didn’t have a barbecue grill, a fire pit, a playground, or a fenced-in backyard. Plus, there weren’t enough towels. We only had enough bath towels for each person to use once, and there were no hand towels at all. "

This charming small town boasts the beautifully preserved 1915 courthouse that anchors Cook County's historic downtown square. Visitors can explore local heritage at the Old Cook County Jail Museum or time their trip for the popular Daylily Festival held each spring.
We arrived at the hotel which was located in a good area and easy to find. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. She was an excellent ambassador for your hotel. Our room was spotless clean and very nice. We were very pleased. We did note there was no moisturizing cream. The breakfast was good, not over the top. The food was somewhat dried out and not too tasty. There were no labels to describe what the food was. It is a lovely breakfast area, clean and bright.
