"The property felt poorly maintained, and there was a strong marijuana smell throughout parts of the hotel during my stay. On the second day I stayed there the smell was coming through the bathroom vent they make you pay a $50 deposit if you smoke in the room which we don't I really hope I get that money back The atmosphere around the hotel also felt questionable. At one point, police were blocking the entrance and searching vehicles coming into the driveway, which definitely did not make the place feel safe or welcoming. Next door is a liquor store where all the crackheads and prostitutes hang out and pour into the hotel area there's three hotels in this area The complimentary breakfast was mediocre, people from the nearby Motel 6 regularly came in just to load up plates and leave with food. Oddly enough, the cleaning lady appeared more concerned about it than the actual hotel staff. One employee even admitted they didn’t bother stopping it because it would create too much conflict. The pool area was very humid, and the water temperature was strange — not warm, not cold, just kind of cool like tap water. The carpets on the 4th floor were also dirty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. The one positive I can give this hotel is that the beds were comfortable. Other than that, this was not a stay I would repeat."

"Now I will NOT TRUST THE WYNDHAM NAME. Shower had hairs and other detritus on the wall and on the soap dispensers. Front desk man knew that I was leaving 4:30 AM, but 4:45, he was in the middle of putting out coffee and hot water -- I did not get any. Breakfast area about 2 feet wide, with people in there waiting for their waffles to cook, everyone in everyone else's way and bumping. NO HALF-AND-HALF, NOT EVEN IN THE SMALL UNREFRIGERATED CONTAINERS, ONLY FAKE COFFEE MATE CR*P-CHEMICAL-BAD-OIL UNHEALTHY "WHITENER". Nothing for coffee in the room, no sweetener, no "lightener", just 2 packets for black coffee. Shower design was insane---glass shower door did not open on the side with the faucet, so you have to stand inside the shower and get doused with cold water in order to turn it on. And shower door was extremely heavy and hard to slide. AND THE WORST -- THE HALLWAYS WERE SPRAYED DAILY AND HEAVILY WITH SOMETHING EXTREMELY SMELLY. Don't know if it is febreeze, anti-pest chemicals, or someone's (terrible) idea to try to make it smell good because the carpets were so dirty, BUT ALL OF MY CLOTHES NOW SMELL OF IT, AND THEY ARE OUTSIDE IN THE SUN TO TRY TO GET RID OF IT, after being home an entire day. I can try to get the smell out with bleach -- except for my silk coat that cannot be bleached. THE SMELL BURNED MY THROAT even to walk through it, and I would try to hold my breath until I got in my room. Supposed to be under construction, but on work day Friday, nothing done."

"Staff was kind, restaurant served a great breakfast. The hotel felt older, but it was clean. The only negative I saw was that there was no mirror in the living space of the room. There were 3 in the bathroom, but if it's occupied, there's no other mirror to use."

"The room’s chairs were dirty with hair, the bedding had stains and one of the sheets had blood. I requested extra items including a blanket due to the dirtiness and didn’t get the items until past midnight when someone knocked on the door. I requested the items through the app twice and also called. The person still brought the wrong items so I asked a friend to bring them instead. The people in rooms above me were making so much noise stamping on the ground also and slamming doors. At breakfast, a lady only questioned me on the room number I was in and if I’m the only person there. The other guests heard and questioned why they weren’t asked yet I was. This was very unsafe for me and disappointing as I was solo. Especially choosing to take a trip after my dad’s passing. I won’t come here again. "
