Very good stay with my ill /deteriorating health wanted to stay near shops but had the hotel had no cancellation policy still after my stay I am happy as I can be so thank you oryx hotel.

Spacious room, comfy bed, and excellent location. Bathroom could use a deep clean, but overall a good stay, especially for the price in downtown Abu Dhabi.

I was skeptical at first as some negative reviews said this is not a good place. It is not very new furnished hotel, however it is still great for the price you pay compared to others. The staff is really good and service quality for that price is perfect!

Location is great however the hotel not so much. We had 2 rooms and one of them had cockroaches, also the pool pictures are misleading as around the pool is also the terrace and is kind of strange to use the sunbed with people around sitting on the terrace . Stuff is nice and helpful.

Very kind staff, we have asked for an upgrade at our arrival and they gave us a really big and comfortable room for the same price. We have had a problem with our 4yo daughter and they allowed us to check out 1 hour later than the scheduled time.

The hotel has a great potential to be 5 star hotel. Staff are amazing so is the location. The only area in my opinion that lets this hotel down is cleanness. House keeping staff are very friendly and accommodating but need proper training, supervision and realistic time to carry out their tasks efficiently.

No Parking available. You have to find a spot on one of the neighboring streets which is nearly impossible during the evening hours. Then you have to learn how the payment-system works. The App only works with an UAE -phone number but the Terminals on the sidewalk are very easy to use. Nice Neighborhood with lots of great food and excellent coffee. Close to the beach. I would not choose this place again because of the parking-issue and the dated bathrooms.

Although maybe a little dated, the rooms are comfy and spacious. For the price it is good value. The Irish pub in the hotel is very pleasant and the happy hour prices are very good by local standards.
