Situated close to Charlestown of Aberlour it offers spectacular views of Ben Rinnes and the surrounding countryside. Sleeping 9 people in 3 king size and 1 triple room and with 3 bath/shower rooms in total it offers all the space and amenities for a comfortable stay for families or a group of friends. The state of the art air source heating combined with heat recovery system means the property is really cosy all year round and the wood burning stove situated in the open-plan living area adds that extra element of comfort for those cold wintry nights. It’s warmth, space, light and enclosed private garden offers all the privacy and tranquillity rural living gives. With many walks, villages, fishing, skiing and the famous Malt Whisky Trail right on your doorstep there are plenty of sights and activities to keep all ages amused. Lilyfield is a 1.5 storey modern build property. You will enter via a spacious utility room comprising washing and drying facilities and a large area for shoes and coats. From here you will then enter into the open-plan living area comprising a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. The full length south facing window wall offers spectacular views as well as making the most of every drop of sunlight. Off the lounge there is the first king size bedroom with en-suite facilities. A second king size mezzanine style bedroom is located above the living area. Through a small corridor off the kitchen you will find a spacious twin room and shower room (not en-suite). It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it is beautifully decorated, is extremely quiet, has stunning views and is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. It is a 7min drive to the closest village of Aberlour, where there is a well stocked co-op, a small hotel and a couple of bars and shops. It is a 25min drive to bigger supermarkets in Elgin. This area is perfect for exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside, with loads of great walk,s hikes, castles and train journeys to explore. Slightly off the beaten track so ideal for those who value privacy and don't mind hearing much noise apart from the nature around them. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Jonathan T. 4 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Accommodation Description This is a very pleasant modern property in a beautiful location while being easy to access from the main road into Aberlour. The property is well equipped and in theory suited our party of 70 plus year olds on a fishing holiday. However the description of the bedrooms and bathrooms was difficult to interpret and did no meet our needs as well as we had hoped. Photos of one bedroom showed two single beds which would have been fine for us, but the reality was that one bed had been removed and replaced with childrens bunk beds; not ideal for us! Although there is another 4th bed room it required the negotiation of 2 staircases and the full length of the house to reach the family bathroom. Not ideal for us oldies. For a more agile young family this is a very nice holiday home with the added benefit of a property manager close at hand should you need help and they sell lovely fresh eggs at the farm. All of the above made life a little difficult for our party of 3 couples and would have been much more difficult if we had arrived with an extra couple as had been a possibility. ##### Jonathan T.
