"Friendly staff, nice room, powerful shower in nice but small bathroom. Evening meal was quite expensive but very nice, full Scottish breakfast excellent. Great location. Parking a nightmare in the day. Payment by meter if your lucky enough to find a spot,free 5pm to 9am. I had to park 10min walk away after driving around the place 3 times. "

"We loved this hotel. There are several bus stops by the hotel to take you into the city or to take you to the train station. There is also a restaurant on the property with a really good drink selection and good food. There is also a market within walking distance. The staff was so helpful. The room was very clean with a towel warmer, and the bed was extremely comfortable and big."

"The hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! It’s about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel it’s amazing!! From management to housekeeping,maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff 😊 are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Can’t thank them enough for making me feel loved "

"Decent hotel for the price and the rooms were clean ,Rachel in the breakfast area was so helptand so was Ali who made sure we were comfortable. The hotel is situated in a residential area which is not the best developed but still hotel seems nice and safe Has a chippy /bar/restaurant and ice cream parlour right next to it in case I come back from Edinburgh early Easy transport options (bus trainand park and ride from near hotel Would recommend for a decent priced hotel away from city . Would recommend!!"
