"Very nice hotel. I would recommend it for your stay in Durango. Two things that come to mind that were a concern were that the internet was sporadic at best. Also you have to be ready for the train whistles all morning. If you like to sleep in it may not be the hotel for you."

"Generally the hotel overall does need a bit of a face-lift. It is quite dated! However my husband and I had a very spacious room, with a small refrigerator, a microwave and a small terrace leading to the river and river walk. Very quiet and scenic! The hotel is dog friendly, many dogs were there, but sound proofing must be good, because we never heard any noise. Our room would have been perfect for a doggie family, Bruno could go straight to the grass, without going through the hotel. If you plan to use the microwave, take your own microwaveable containers, none are provided."
