Very pleasant couple operating this Motel!
It had been renovated inside our room which was the perfect size for our needs
The exterior is a work in progress as was explained!
They take pride in the ownership and quality of their property
Complimented her on the quality of their towels!
Wish I had some at my own place 😊

A great find on Manitoulin Island for people passing through or staying a while. Motel has a good website, is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Best bathrooms I have seen in a while...so clean you might actually have a bath as opposed to a shower. How often can you say that? Attentive and helpful owner who is ready to provide directions and recommendations on where to eat. Stays open late if you are on that last ferry out of Tobermory.

We travelled to Manitoulin for a one night stopover, not the typical trip for visitors to this area. My Friends Inn is owned and managed by a young couple who have obviously taken great pride in creating their idea of a motel with a touch of B & B atmosphere. The facility is in a very quiet area, walk to the local shoreline attractions and each unit is well equipped. Extremely clean rooms with updated furnishings....love the wall fireplace heater.....and the Tossimo coffee makers !! If you are...
