« The parking lot had some pretty big holes, but otherwise was sufficient to handle all the cars of the customers. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. »

« A hostel-like experience right here in northern Minnesota! Quiet little town and easy access with the lock boxes made it very quick to get in and out. I met a couple other people in the shared spaces and got a quiet place to sleep. »

« Absolutely perfect place to stay. We had the best weekend reconnecting with nature; canoeing the Mississippi river, hiking the nearby 5x state parks. The yurt was spacious yet cozy. We were always comfortable during both the warm daytime and when it cooled off at night. Laying on the comfortable bed, staring up at the stars between the treetop canopy was a great way to relax before falling asleep. « Our stay for two nights was comfortable and what a cute little stay with my husband and two mini Aussies. Only problem was no WiFi connection for the stay(not concerning to us) was nice to unplug from the world but if you were counting on having it could be a negative experience. If you want to receive texts or phone calls you need to step outside of the tiny home( I beleive because it is made out of shipping containers) other than that comfortable perfect stay. Also bring along bug spray! »

« The place was tiny, but nice. The main downside was the mosquitoes. They attacked me the second I got out of my car. It was hard to keep them out of the container. The A/C was good as well as Wifi!Also, the name of the place was a bit deceptive. Icefishing? From the title, I thought I'd be on a lake. »

« We were the only ones here for 2 nights, it was so peaceful and quiet! Which was kind of creepy but in a good way, you’re so far out, you hear coyotes howling, and creaks in the woods! « For the first time we had a slight issue with our vacation rental. When we arrived and entered the unit, it was obvious that it was not cleaned. Contacted the host and was moved to another unit, which was fine being it was exactly like the one we had rented. The only other complaint would be the heating/ac unit is extremely loud and was disruptive while trying to sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated that we were able to bring our dog with us. »

« Had 7 friends up for our traditional Memorial Day weekend we have been doing since the 90's and had a great time. The cabin was super comfortable, and had plenty of space for us. A nice gazebo is there if there are bugs, which there was not, and the fire pit area was perfect. Would recommend! »
