« Aucun personnel à l’accueil. Nous avons été accueillis par une machine qui communiquait virtuellement avec un préposé. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas. Nous devions avoir un grand frigo à la chambre et nous avions un mini sans congélateur. La chambre était très petite. L’air climatisé était tellement vieux et bruyant que nous avons eu l’impression de dormir à côté de notre tondeuse. »

« We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. I really appreciated the yoga room with some small weights for morning workouts. The back porch was perfect for morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable and shower in primary...

« They did a great job renovating the Tar Heel motel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bring K-cups with you if you are a big coffee drinker and don’t pack heavy. This is the best of old school Outer Banks, reminds me of when my parents would take us to OBX in the 70’s staying at the Beacon. »

« I have been visiting the Outer Banks for 35 years, and this property was top notch. Beautifully decorated and well-appointed with everything you could need for a two-week stay with my family. We baked and cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, had s’mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub. Communication with the owners was easy with prompt replies, and check in process was seamless.Our family would return to this home on a future OBX visit! »
