With that said the hotel is located in the heart of Thamel, with in 1.5 kilometers of Durbar Square with all of the restaurants, shopping and activities that come along with it. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond any need that I had. I will be back in Kathmandu in a few weeks and I know that if I need anything they will help. So if you are looking for a budget hotel then this is the place for you."

My girlfriend and I started our 15 months world tour by spending 2 weeks in Nepal, and Andes House was our home base. The owner is a very nice young guy ! He was always willing to help us enhance our stay by any mean. The hotel is very well situated, only 2 minutes away from Thamel main street; but remains amaizingly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is included and you can drink as many tea and coffee as you want for free during the day (very enjoyable, particularly after spending a day visiting...
