« We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. « It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. « Very spacious home! We were 4 couples and everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen very well stocked. Loved the wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom gas fireplace did not work however. Hope that has been fixed. »

The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. « This was a lovely home, and perfect for our long weekend with friends. The location is central to the area’s sites and activities. The extra features and touches of this home made our stay special. Darlene was very helpful and responsive. »
