Camping Fusina provided us with easy on the wallet accommodations that were a seven minute walk to a water taxi that got us to Venice in 20 minutes each day. We rented a private camper "trailer", and were just a little surprised that it shared a wall with other campers. (Think townhouse trailer.) This wasn't such a big deal but it's worth noting that whenever the people next door moved around it did...

"Just a 50yard walk from S.Marco Giglio landing stage means multi choice option from Airport. We did bus 10€ each to the Island and the after a refreshment stop overlooking the water taxi stop we took a 60€ taxi to Giglio. Then on day 3 used The Vapereto - waterbus to go up to Rialto and in the evening across the Grand Canal to a recommended restaurant. The hotel was so well placed for our explorations being just a short walk to St Mark’s Square. Everything was spot on and as expected with just one drawback and that is the hotels choice to supply paper cups for use in the bedroom for hot and cold drinks and in the bathroom for teeth washing. "
