“convenient.”

We like this place because of quick access to highway. Also located near nice restaurants. The staff is friendly. There was one day where we had left at 10am and returned to room at 4pm and the room was not made! We did NOT leave a "do not disturb" sign outside. So we were not happy, and we had to call for fresh towels. It was a Saturday when they did not do appropriate service. But we would stay here again.

“Love the view!”

Although I live only a few minutes away from the hotel, It was a great little romantic get-a-way for two. The hotel was very low key, yet there are so many restaurants around it just steps away from the hotel. Room service was great, bigger portions than other hotels! Very clean, and the view of all the restaurants and the Shearaton Hotel lights seemed to brighten up the streets as if I was staying in downtown toronto. Overall great experience!

Area recommendations

In Richmond Hill I would definitely say the best area to stay in is around Highway 7 and Leslie, which is exactly where the Hilton Garden Inn is located. There are also many other great hotels to chose from. However, if you are looking for more of a luxurious hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn, and the Sheraton Hotel are the best choices in the Richmond Hill area, closer to Markham.

“If you're headed north of Toronto..”

The staff was efficient - not overly friendly - but effective - in terms of other Hilton properties I would put it above average but under superb...little things that were easily fixed were overseen - just a call to the front desk, and not many at that...

We spent time traveling north to Port Perry and Bobcaygeon - the lake country if beautiful - did not get into Toronto due to Caribbean Festival...giant crowds....

“Can't wait to go back!!”

Our room was very comfortable & clean. There was a mini fridge and mircowave which was very convenient if your traveling with kids. The kids loved the pool as did I, I enjoyed the fitness room also, (you would need ask the front desk for headphones if you want to watch tv) The lobby was quite inviting and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating . I highly recommend staying here,

Area recommendations

Theres alot of Mini Mall Strips for shopping along this area. I reccommend Pacific mall and market village.- Old chinatown is a nice place to explore dining options- And Markham mall, I found some interesting items there .

“Hotel not very well maintenant”

We stayed there for 5 days. When we checked in, the room has a very old TV. We requested to have a flat screen as we saw in the advertising photos. We moved to a different room the next day, but there is no safe. We need to keep our laptop, passport, jewelry and foreign currencies in a save place. We found that out just when we finished unpacking. We end up putting all our valuable in the office safe and left the laptop locked in our suitcase in the room.

“Great Hotel Experience”

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were quiet and spacious. I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely be staying there again when i'm back in Richmond Hill. Highly Recommended.

“Wouldn't say "kid friendly"...”

Would not let us rent a playpen for our room (or let us switch rooms) due to regulations (two adults, 1 baby). We had no hot water for showers in the morning and lumpy mattresses. . A frustrating travel experience.

Area recommendations

I would recommend staying on the other side of Hwy 7 because there are restaurants, etc on that side of the road. It is also hard to turn out of the hotel when there is traffic.
