“Comfortable, close to airport, with 24 hour business centre”

I really appreciated the convenience of the 24 hour free internet access in the business centre as was in the midst of important work, without my laptop on hand. The good food and comfortable accommodation with very early shuttle to airport completed the stay.

“Very Pleased!”

You get what you pay for here at this moderately priced hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, great value for your dollar. You do have to pay to park, which is somewhat annoying. It is a bit isolated, but no problem for us as we had a car. A short drive to shopping and restaurants. Not a lot within walking distance. Very close to the International Centre where we were attending a sports card show. Seemed ideal for those staying over to catch a flight the next day across the street. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again, when I need to be in this area of town.

“Comfortable, easy access to airport.”

We only stayed on night here but we found the room to be clean and comfortable. The hotel is located across the street from Terminal 3 so easy access if you are departing from there.

“Clean and comfortable. Good value for money”

Never encountered a problem when checking in. Have always had good rooms with Expedia.

Area recommendations

Down town Toronto for a week end stay and if you don,t want to rent a car. Otherwise this hotel is perfect is you like to commute.

“Not what I expected”

I booked this hotel for three nights to go for an exotic car tour while in Toronto. I wanted a hotel near the airport because I thought that it would be easier to navigate around the city that way, and I thought we would be alot closer to things. When we arrived late at night the restaurant was closed and the only place to eat within walking distance was a grungy old burger joint type thing. The hotel itself was obviously an older building. I did alot of research on hotels and this one looked very nice in the pictures, modern and clean just like the four points I stayed in in Calgary, AB. But this one was NOTHING like the other one. It had that old moldy smell, not even a flat screen tv. The bed was decently comfortable at least, but I was very disappointed. I wish I would have spent the extra $200 to stay at the Sheraton Gateway inside the airport. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, but it doesn't quite make up for the disappointment of the hotel suite. Also, the first night we were there one of the elevators would not work just for floor 6...guess which floor we were on? I thought it was a bit silly that they didn't just switch our room to another floor since the hotel wasn't busy at all. Anyway, will definately try a different hotel if I ever go back to Toronto.

Area recommendations

I have no idea....this city is so huge you HAVE to rent a car since that is much cheaper than taking a cab or town car and you have to drive at least 30 minutes to get anywhere... Yonge street is bustling with people and has alot packed onto one street, so staying around there might be ok... Also, check out Five Drive In. It's an outdoor drive-in movie theatre in Oakville, so awesome!
